Solaris Grid Labs designs pay-as-you-go solar micro-grid hardware and the metering software that runs it, electrifying peri-urban and off-grid communities. Its smart meters handle mobile-money top-ups, remote disconnection and load balancing, while an operator console tracks generation and revenue across sites. With more than 12,500 kilowatts installed, the company sells both the hardware and a SaaS layer to independent power operators across Southern Africa.
